What We’re Looking For

• Strong design fundamentals — solid grasp of layout, hierarchy, and typography
• Proficiency in Figma — confident working entirely in Figma for design and asset export
• Ability to create clean, modern layouts — think Nike, Under Armour, Therabody
• Visually creative — can propose concepts or directions, not just execute existing ones
• Highly organized and reliable — comfortable with async workflows (email, Loom, Notion)
• Fluent in written and spoken English — all communication and briefs are in English
• Nice to have: basic Photoshop skills for light image cleanup or resizing

What You’ll Work On

• Email designs in Figma
• Static Meta ads
• Occasional light Photoshop work (resizing or cleaning up assets)
• Creating clean, on-brand concepts
• Sourcing visuals or simple AI-generated assets to support concepts

Desirable skills

• Strong understanding of layout, spacing, and visual hierarchy
• Confident using Figma for both design and asset export
• Familiar with brand systems and keeping visuals on-style
• Comfortable sourcing or lightly editing product imagery (Photoshop or similar)
• Ability to generate or refine visuals using AI image tools (Midjourney, Firefly, etc.)
• Understanding of email layout principles (hero image, hierarchy, CTA clarity)
• Familiar with social ad formats (Meta 1080x1080, 1080x1920, etc.)
• Basic understanding of typography for digital marketing
• Knows how to organize files and maintain clean, reusable components
• Communicates clearly in async environments (Notion, email, Loom comments)
• Proactive — can take a short prompt and turn it into 1–2 good design directions without hand-holding

We’re a small digital agency based in California, USA that designs Shopify sites, Meta ads, and emails for direct to consumer ecommerce brands.

We’re looking for a designer who’s fluent in Figma — someone with good visual instincts who can turn simple briefs into polished layouts. You'll be working with our agency owner to create assets that will be shown to millions of people through email marketing and paid social ads.
